Health and Safety

Danmadu Oil & Gas ensures that each and every one of its employees is entitled to work in Safe and Healthful environment. To accomplish this, continued emphasis will be placed on Accident Prevention, Employee Health Protection, Protection of the Environment and General Loss Control.


Supervisors, Department Heads and Employees at all levels of DANMADU OIL & GAS work-force are directed to make job Safety a matter equal in importance to all other Company operations, therefore, the control of these incidents will result in an efficient operation. Successful Health and Safety management will lead to a successful business environment. The company will see that all employees are competent to carry out the duties required of them. To achieve the necessary degree of competency, the company will ensure that adequate support (financially or otherwise) is available to provide information, instruction, training and supervision.


Health and Safety measures will be carried out. The management of the company believes that given such care and co-operation by its employees, it is possible for it to conduct its operations in such a way that injury to employees and loss or damage to property can be reduced to minimal level. To achieve this the company will continue to participate in joint consultation to provide the necessary equipment and resources and to regularly check and review its health and safety policy document which as a minimum will be updated annually. The Health and Safety Policy document will be communicated to all the employees and they will be consulted on its continued application.

The following guidelines are established to assist employees in the areas of Accident Prevention. It is important to note that the majority of accidents and/or incidents can be prevented by taking common sense precautions, It is, however, up to each and every employee to assume full co-operation in these measures taken for their Safety and Precaution.

  1. It is the obligation and intention of DANMADU OIL & GAS to provide all her employees with safe and non-hazardous working conditions.
  2. It is the responsibility of all Managers to inspect, instruct and ensure that safety is the primary consideration in all our operations. The operational Managers are responsible for the prevention of accidents, personal injury to our employees, customers and third party, and loss of equipment and property.
  3. Managers are expected to familiarize themselves with and train their employees to understand the rules, regulations, laws and standards as set forth by DANMADU OIL & GAS.
     It is the obligation of DANMADU OIL & GAS employees to comply with the rules, laws, regulations and standards as set forth by the company and that of the country in which we operate.
  4. Employees have to comply with DANMADU OIL & GAS a safety rule that is wear safety clothing and safety equipment (gears) whenever applicable.
  5. Managers will be evaluated on their performance in accident prevention and safety promotion.
  6. Violation of safety rules may constitute cause for discharge or other disciplinary actions
  7. Illegal use of drugs by employees and working under the influence of alcohol constitute cause for immediate dismissal.
  8. Minimize the impact of its activities on the environment.

Every employee of DANMADU OIL & GAS at all levels is, therefore, expected to plan and execute his or her daily work in accordance with this HSES policy and enforce same on all our subcontractors and those we supervise.
